The Contrast of the Fear of Success
Not the greatest place to be….
I’m starting a new newsletter.
But I’m scared.
Will it work?
Is it good?
Does it even make sense?
Will people get it?
I’m less afraid of the answers to those questions, and more afraid of the fact that it might actually work. I might actually get to enjoy the work I do everyday.
But
Will I grow to hate it at some point because it becomes work?
What happens if it grows too big, and I somehow get famous😱?
Will I feel guilty for enjoying my life if it does workout?
The contrast is stark. Win, or lose, both sides seem well, like a loss.
So why try?
Well….
Because there’s nothing else to do, and I know I don’t want to fold t-shirts at Kohl’s.
And
With how hard life is, you have to at least try to make it to a place where you enjoy most of your life day to day. Like 80% enjoy VS. 20% do not enjoy.
That’s a good place to be.
The Time Traveling Salesman
The new newsletter is going to be called The Time Traveling Salesman. Jon Constant, a salesman for The Source Inc. loves the Time Traveling part of his job, but hates the Traveling part. Keep an eye out. You’ll see it soon.
