This aspect of the truth became clearer to me through a compelling new show on Hulu called "Death and Other Details."

In the show there’s an ominous figure that is killing people.

However, another key method of control he uses is blackmail.

A concept that comes up several times in the show.

The blackmailer uses the truth against rich people to control them. Because what are power most afraid of?

Losing power.

And that one dirty piece of information about them could strip them of their power and reputation.

Just the truth exposed.

Truth is vital to existence in my opinion, so it was a sad realization when I realized that blackmail is the truth weaponized.We all want the truth right?
